Koh Samui Highlights

Unique Scuba Diving opportunity to Koh Losin and Koh KraCome and enjoy a unique 2 day live-aboard scuba diving opportunity from Rainbow-Scuba.com Koh Losin and Koh Kra are some of the most remote and unspoiled islands it is possible to find in Thailand. Located approximately 100 km east of Narathiwat province (southern Thailand) in the warm, clear, fertile area where the Gulf of Thailand meets the deeper blue waters of the South China Sea.

Big fish are abundant here because of the distance from the shore and the quality of the reef.  This is a perfect example of a pristine healthy reef so the marine life here can be amazing, with black tip reef shark and bow mouthed guitar fish patrolling the deeper waters down to 40 meters and where giant manta rays and even whale sharks can be seen among the huge table corals.

Readers familiar with Thailand will know that tourism in the western Gulf of Thailand pretty much ends at Koh Samui.  The remaining 500 kilometers of coast line down to the border with Malaysia is left to the prawn farms, fishermen and small family run Thai beach resorts that most westerners can never find because the signs are only in Thai language.

With no tourism along the coast there are no dive operators in this area and no liveaboards based anywhere nearby.  Therefore this unique dive experience is possible only twice a year when one liveaboard scuba vessel makes its way to and from Phuket and Koh Samui.  This trip will not be exclusively gay. There will be other divers on the boat.
