Auntie Mame’s Favorite…
Hi, Sweeties! As a Grande Dame of amazing style but modest means, I think Pattaya is a lovely place to visit; in fact, I might even move here. Just so you know, I always visit incognito and pay the full price, and I don’t care if the place advertises in SPICE! or not. Also, while some of the following are rather costly, I wouldn’t list them unless they were worth it; I don’t list places that are expensive, i.e. unjustifiably too much.

This Month’s Review:
ANTZ
Who the hell is Auntie Mame?
“Dahlings, as I used to tell my nephew, Patrick, there are two things you need to know:
1.”As you go through life you will be tempted to buy expensive motor cars,
tall yachts, and country estates…DON’T; know people who have got em!”
2. “Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death! LIVE, LIVE, LIVE!”
has opened a second branch in Jomtien Complex. (The original is located in View Talay 1). This large, attractive, airy restaurant even has live music in the evening. The menu includes an extensive list of Thai and European cuisine. The food is delicious, and prices are surprisingly reasonable, which is always a plus for Auntie Mame if she happens to be unescorted. My introduction to yellow curry with chicken (80 baht) (kaeng ka-ri kai) was at the original ANTZ about ten years ago; and I haven’t found better yellow curry anywhere else since. The fried crab meat with curry powder (120 baht) is also delectable. If you don’t feel like curry, there are plenty of other tasty choices on the menu. 038-252310.in Jomtien Complex, adorable waiters.
near Hanuman Statue (Tappaya Road); cute, charming waiters. on Tappaya Road.
